- ball bearing puller - 0709;
- clamp for clamps - type clic 0172-Z.
Removal of a dirt-protective cover is carried out in the following order:
- remove the wheel from the side of the wheel to be replaced;
- remove the battery and its pallet;
- unscrew the ball pin nut of the tie rod end;

- with tool 2 (pic. 8.16) disconnect the hinge from the steering knuckle;

- lift handset 1 (pic. 8.17) from cover 2;

- remove clamp 1 (pic. 8.18);

- remove clamp 1 with a screwdriver (pic. 8.19) and slide cover 2.
Install the dust cover in the following order:

- lubricate bearing surfaces (pic. 8.20) covers and rails with TOTAL N3924/ TOTAL N3945 grease;

- put a new dirt-proof cover on the rail housing 2 (pic. 8.21);
Attention! Before installing the boot, clean the bearing surfaces in areas A and B.
- install and tighten a new clamp 3 using special pliers;
- put handset 1 on the case;
- install a new clamp 1 (see fig. 8.18) and tighten it;
- Continue assembly in the reverse order of removal.
- adjust the wheel alignment.
