Cylinder block for DW10 TD and DW10 ATED engines (Peugeot 206)

The cylinder blocks of the DW10 ATED and DW10TD engines are identical and differ only in nameplates.



The cylinder block is made of cast iron and has no removable liners. Cylinder diameter 85 mm. Five main bearing caps have selections C (pic. 4.27) to reduce the weight of the cylinder block. The thickness of the jumpers is 8 mm between the cylinders with coolant ducts A and trimming B of the jumpers to improve their cooling in the upper part of the block. The engine is equipped with a coolant drain hole located on the rear wall of the block and closed with a plug.

Note. The cylinders are counted from the flywheel side.
