- disconnect, plug and move tubes 4 and 6 (pic. 4.99);
- lift and move the fuel filter 5;
- release from the clamps and move the lower hoses 2 and 3;
- remove support 1 of the fuel filter;
Pic. 4.100. Removing the fuel pressure regulator: 1 - pressure regulator; 2 - connector; 3 - bolts
- disconnect connector 2 (pic. 4.100);
- clean and vacuum the dirt around the fuel pressure regulator 1;
Attention! Do not use a screwdriver to remove the pressure regulator.
- unscrew two bolts 3 fastening the regulator;
- manually remove the pressure regulator 1 by turning it to the right and left by half a circle, and at the same time pulling it out;

- close the resulting hole with a plug 1 (pic. 1.101).
Install the high pressure fuel regulator on the injection pump in the following order:
Pic. 4.101. Plug installation: 1 - plug
- remove cap 1 (see fig. 4.101);
Note. Using a mirror, make sure that there is no dirt in the seat where the pressure regulator was located, and if necessary, clean and remove the dirt with a vacuum cleaner.
- install a new bushing and seals on the pressure regulator and lubricate them with petroleum jelly (or similar compound);
Pic. 4.102. Fuel pressure regulator installation: 1 - fixture; 2 - bolts; 3 - central bolt; 4 - teflon disc
- install the pressure regulator in tool 1 (pic. 4.102) and tighten the bolts 2 of the fixture to the end of the thread;
- insert teflon disc 4 between pressure regulator and tool 1;
- tighten the central bolt 3 in such a way as to hold the pressure regulator at the inlet to its seat without damaging the seal;
- press in the pressure regulator using tool 1 until it touches the injection pump housing;
- remove tool 1;
- reinstall bolts 3 (see fig. 4.100);
- pre-tighten bolts 3 to torque (2,5±0,2) N·m;
- finally tighten the bolts 3 to the torque (9±1) N·m;
- reconnect connector 2;
- install support 1 (see fig. 4.99) fuel filter;
- reinstall hoses 2 and 3;
- install fuel filter 5;
- reconnect fuel lines 4 and 6;
- connect the wire to the negative battery terminal;
- turn the ignition on and off (about 3 times);
- start the engine;
- increase the engine speed to 4000 min-1;
- make sure there are no fuel leaks in the connections and error codes;
- check the operation of the vehicle components on the road after driving at least 30 km, while stopping and starting the engine several times, accelerating while fully depressing the accelerator pedal.
