Removing
Raise and block the vehicle by hanging the front wheels.
Remove the front subframe.
Turn away bolts (1) and remove the assembly: anti-roll bar/supports.
Cap identification
The anti-roll bar is hinged with two elastic covers (2).
The correct position in the lateral and horizontal directions is provided by two flats «A» at the bottom of the base! (2) and two labels «b» on a square section (4).
brace (3) holds the entire assembly.
Removing supports
Attention. Do not allow the stabilizer bar beam to come into direct contact with any object or metal tool.
Hold the anti-roll bar on the workbench to remove the brackets (3) and supports (2).
Remove the bracket (3), using a flathead screwdriver as a lever (in the zone «With»).
Remove support (2).
Installation of supports
Attention. Check the condition of the stabilizer bar (no impact marks, cracks or points of corrosion). The paint covering the beam must not be damaged until the metal is exposed.
Pull back and insert support (2).
Note. Support slot (2) should be located behind the anti-roll bar.
Align the inner flats «A» with stampings «b» on the stabilizer bar (one on each side).
Attention. Apply sealing mounting paste for type «REMA PM600» inside the bracket (3) (in the zone «J»). Do not apply paste to either the anti-roll bar or inside the support.
Hold the prop (2), to prevent any rotation.
Install the bracket (3).
Installation
Reinstall the anti-roll bar (4) along with its supports (2) and staples (3).
Note. To ensure the alignment of the supports (2), they must be located in the zone «e».
Attention. Observe the center distance of the supports: 592 mm.
Reinstall the bolts (1), tighten to 75±7.5 Nm.
Check bracket location (3) in the hooks of the subframe.
Install the underframe.
