Note. This chapter covers diagnostic trouble codes displayed by the equipment «Lexia» And «Proxia».
Considered cars in the configuration «Full CAN PSA», equipped with a stalk-mounted switching module (COM 200x).
Body height sensor connectors
The sensors have six-pin connectors.
Input voltage: 5 V.
Xenon lama actuator
A starting voltage of about 25 kW creates an electric arc between the electrodes.
The duration of arc stabilization is about two seconds.
On a burning lamp, the arc is maintained by an alternating voltage of about 85 V.
From the power module and ballast resistance, a voltage of 1 kW is applied to the lamp terminals.
Voltage conversion 1/25 kW is carried out by a lamp.
Electrical characteristics
The current consumption is about 40A during ignition (within a few milliseconds), then its value decreases for about 30 seconds to 3A with stable operation. The electrical power consumed by one xenon headlight is 35 watts.
Symptoms
The table shows the symptoms of a malfunction used in the diagnosis.
Emergency operating modes (direction indicators)
If the turn signal control from the switch box under the steering wheel is not active, the intelligent switch box requires the turn signals to be switched off (no requirement to turn off the alarm).
Emergency light signaling
If one of the turn signal lamps has a burnt out lamp, the blinking frequency of the direction indicators of that side is doubled (this does not apply to repeaters).
Emergency light signaling (sharp deceleration)
If the system fails, or if there is no information about the deceleration or speed of the vehicle, the turn signal lights will not light up, but they can still be turned on manually.
If the deceleration information does not pass and the alarm is automatically activated, the alarm will flash until the alarm switch is pressed.
Emergency operation (rear fog lights)
In the event of a malfunction of the steering column switch, the rear fog lamps cannot be turned on, or they will go out if they were on before the malfunction occurred.
