Control devices, indicators and signaling devices (Peugeot 207)

When the ignition is switched on, the orange and red warning lights on the instrument cluster panel light up.

If the vehicle systems are working properly, after starting the engine, all warning lights should go out.

The instrument cluster consists of the following elements:

• warning signaling devices and information indicators;
• counters and pointers (indicators of levels, temperatures, speeds, etc);
• adjustment switches (brightness of the backlight, resetting the partial mileage counter, etc).

The instrument cluster has a built-in liquid crystal display, which includes the following elements:

• maintenance approach indicator;
• oil level indicator;
• run counters;
• indicator speed limiting and control system (depending on vehicle configuration);
• indicator for detecting the presence of water in diesel fuel (depending on engine model);
• preheating indicator (depending on engine model).
