Atmospheric pressure sensor
The atmospheric pressure sensor allows the engine ECU to determine the density of the air entering the fuel injection system.
The atmospheric pressure sensor is built into the engine ECU, so it cannot be replaced separately.
Intake manifold pressure and temperature sensor
The pressure and temperature sensor in the intake manifold informs the engine ECU about the temperature of the air supplied to the cylinders.
If a malfunction is detected in the valve timing system, the engine ECU uses the sensor information to perform the following operations:
- determining the role of the fuel injection ECU depending on the information received;
- determination of the amount of fuel to be injected.
The pressure and temperature sensor in the intake manifold is a piezoresistor and is powered by 5 V.
The voltage signal sent by the sensor is proportional to the measured pressure.
The temperature sensor is a negative temperature coefficient resistor (CTN).
Electrical characteristics:
- resistance at 0°C - 5887 Ohm;
- resistance at 20°C - 2510 Ohm;
- resistance at 40°C - 2000 Ohm.
Connector pin assignment:
- pin 1: intake air pressure sensor signal;
- pin 2: power supply 5V;
- pin 3: air supply temperature signal;
- pin 4: «weight».
