7 - main solenoid valve for pressure change.
8 - pressure modulation solenoid valve (lock clutch).
Electrovalves are built into the hydraulic unit.
Solenoid valve (7) changes the pressure in the pressure line depending on the gear engaged and the transmitted torque (EVM pressure).
Solenoid valve (8) controls the torque converter lock-up clutch (EVM shunt).
The solenoid valves are powered by 12 V and are switched on by a connection on «mass» (ECU). They regulate the hydraulic pressure in proportion to the current coming from the transmission ECU (cyclic current).
