Electronic transmission control (Peugeot 207)

Gearbox control involves the elements listed below.

ECU has flash memory (allowing software updates via download). Multifunctional contactor (new).

Mode selector.

LED display (on the dashboard), showing the position of the gear selector lever and the program selected by the driver.

Downshift function (mode «kickdown»), activated by a contact sensor connected to the accelerator pedal cable (depressing the accelerator pedal to the stop), function of locking the selector lever in position «R» («shift lock»). Signaling device for the need to move the lever to position «R» when the ignition is turned off.
