Pouring cylinder
Drain
Note. Draining the oil from the gearbox must be carried out at a temperature of at least 60°C to remove dirt suspended in the oil.
Draining of the oil is partially impossible to completely drain the oil from the torque converter.
Remove the level check plug (2) and drain tube plug and oil filling (1).
Note. The volume of oil after draining should be approximately 3 liters.
Oil filling
Install drain plug (1) and tighten to 9 Nm.
Remove the fill plug (3).
Install the fill tank.
Refueling capacity dry gearbox: 5.85 liters.
Amount of oil remaining after draining: approx. 3 liters.
Amount of oil to fill: about 3 liters..
Install the fill plug (3) (new gasket) and tighten to 24 Nm.
Initialize Fluid Wear Counter (follow the procedure indicated in the scan tool menu).
Checking the oil level
The car must be installed horizontally.
Check that there is no emergency operation of the automatic transmission.
Remove the fill plug (3). Add an additional 0.5 liters of oil to the gearbox.
Press the brake pedal, shift all gears.
Set the gear lever to position «R».
Bring the temperature of the working fluid to 60°C.
Remove the level plug (2).
Size X = 48 mm.
If the oil flows out in a stream, and then begins to drain gradually in the form of drops, install the level plug (2) (with new gasket) and tighten to 33 Nm (AL4) and 10 Nm (AM6S).
If the oil immediately begins to flow out in the form of drops or does not flow out at all, install the level plug (2) and stop the engine.
Add an additional 0.5 liters of oil to the gearbox.
Perform again the procedure for bringing its level to normal.
Install the level plug (2) (with new gasket).
Install the fill plug (3) (with new gasket).
Note. If the oil level is too high, it may cause the oil to heat up abnormally and leak.
If the level is too low, the transmission will fail.
