Note. Some BE 4/5 gearboxes are equipped with a 5th/Reverse gear inhibit.
System composition:
39 - blocking finger;
40 - the blocking pin support is fastened with two screws in the gearbox housing.
Attention. planted finger (39) must protrude beyond the plane of the connector with the clutch housing by a distance X = 8 + 0.5 mm. The use of tool 5 guarantees this clearance.
Note. Gearboxes without a 5th/Reverse Inhibit System are equipped with a double locking pin (42) And (43) gearshift axles (41).
Remove:
- reverse gear fork (49) with its axis (46);
- locking finger (45);
- adjustment mechanism (44);
- magnetic bar (48);
- sleeve (47) secondary shaft.
Press out the fastening pins (50) gear selector (51).
Remove:
- gear selector (51);
- adjustment mechanism (52);
- puck (53);
- sealant (54);
- gear selection axle (55).
