Door lock cylinder — removal and installation (Peugeot 305)

1. The front door lock cylinder is locked in place with a sliding clip (see photo).



2. Remove the door trim (see section 9) and lift the glass all the way up to open the sliding clamp of the cylinder (see photo).



3. Move the clip and remove the lock cylinder from the door (see photo).



4. Installation of the cylinder is carried out in the reverse order. Before fixing the cylinder with a clip, check that the installation tongues on the door fit into the special grooves on the cylinder.

Doors and door locks (all models)

1. In 1985, the diameter of the door lock cylinder was increased. The new doors have a hole for a larger lock cylinder. The lock cylinder from the old door can be rearranged to a new one using a special adapter sold in stores "Peugeot".
