Beep — Diagnosis and Troubleshooting (Peugeot 305)

1. Two sound horns are located behind the front bumper near the right headlight and can be reached after removing the front grille.

2. If the buzzer does not work, disconnect the power cable (N 24) and use a 12V test lamp to check if power is being supplied. If not, go through the chain and find the break.

3. If there is power but the signal still does not work, check the ground. If everything is in order here, then the fault lies in the sound horns themselves, although it is unlikely that both failed at the same time.

4. Defective sound horns must be replaced as they are not repaired or regulated.
