2. Unscrew the knurled nut and disconnect the negative green from the battery) the wire. Disconnect the positive in the same way (red) the wire.
3. Unscrew and remove the clamping bolt that secures the battery to its platform (see photo).
4. Carefully remove the battery, making sure that the electrolyte does not get on the painted surfaces.
5. Install the battery in the reverse order. Before connecting the wires, clean the battery terminals from traces of corrosion and lubricate them with petroleum jelly.
