XUD7T and XUD9TE Engines — Disassembly (Peugeot 305)

1. The disassembly procedure is the same as in section 22. The only thing added is that the turbocharger must be dressed at the same time as the manifolds.

2. When the engine is completely disassembled, remove the suction nozzles from the crankcase designed to cool the pistons and clean or replace them (see d/fig. 8.3).

3. Before starting the engine for the first time, fill the turbocharger circuit by disconnecting the cut-off solenoid wire from the fuel pump and turning the engine three times with the starter, each time turning the starter on for 10 seconds.
