1. Before starting assembly, check that all parts are clean and that all necessary new parts have been purchased. You will need a complete set of gaskets and engine seals.
2. Replace all bolts, nuts and studs with damaged threads.
3. You will need a dial gauge and a supply of clean engine oil to lubricate the parts during assembly.
4. For the job, you will need a lubricant, threadlocker, anti-seize compound and various sealants.
5. Prepare a large number of lint-free rags for wiping hands and engine parts.
