45. Install the drive shaft oil seal protector on the right side of the final drive assembly (see photo).
46. Raise and support the front of the machine and place the engine with the gearbox under the engine compartment.
47. Connect to the engine with a hoist box and lift them into place, then making sure not to touch the cables, tubes, etc. Insert the left mounting stud into place and put the nut on it. Install the right upper engine mount.
48. Check that the right drive shaft bearing carrier is in place and insert the right drive shaft into the smooth gear. Attach the bearing carrier and remove the seal protector.
49. Remove the differential side gear holding tool and connect the left drive shaft to the final drive.
50. Install the lower engine mount and tighten its fasteners.
51. Connect the disconnected suspension and steering parts, replacing the ball joint nuts with new ones.
52. Connect the exhaust pipes to the exhaust manifold flange, replacing the gasket with a new one. Tighten nuts.
53. Install the right fender inner panel and the lower radiator hose, which is attached to the panel with a support bracket.
54. Install the wheels and lower the machine to the ground. Install accessories, hoses, wires, tubes, etc. Check again that everything is connected.
55. When connecting the hoses to the intake manifold, note that the brake booster vacuum hose is at the front and goes to the left side of the engine. The water hose is connected to the front center pipe, and the crankcase ventilation hose is connected to the rear center pipe. Also pay attention to how the hoses are connected to the carburetor (see photo).
