Heater Radiator Replacement (Peugeot 307)

To remove the heater core:

• turn off the ignition and disconnect the wire «masses» from the storage battery;
• remove the heater core sensor;

• remove bottom panel 1 (pic. 10.116), located under the instrument panel;
• unscrew the bolts 3 and remove the side wall 4 of the center console;
• remove the trim panel 2 under the steering column, releasing it from the latches and pulling down
• remove the decorative casing from the engine;
• in the engine compartment, near the partition of the engine compartment, clamp the hoses leading to the heater radiator with clamps;

• remove screws 1 and 2 (pic. 10.117);
• place a container under the heater radiator fitting;
• release the clamps 4 and remove the heater core 3 from the socket;

Attention! When removing the heater core from the socket, the coolant inlet and outlet pipes should disconnect by themselves.

• remove the heater core.

To install the heater core:

• partially insert heater core 2 (pic. 10.118) in the nest;
• connect the tubes 1 of the inlet and outlet of the coolant and slide the heater core into the socket.

Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:

• reinstall the heater core sensor;
• add coolant;
• connect wire «masses» to the battery;
• check the operation of electrical equipment;
• initiate all electronic systems.
