- remove the steering knuckle;

- remove retaining ring 1 (pic. 6.10), holding the front wheel hub bearing;
- secure the steering knuckle in a vice;

- install pressure pad 0621-E 1 (pic. 6.11) or a round steel plate of the appropriate diameter;

- install puller 0621-K 2 on the steering knuckle (pic. 6.12) and, screwing the bolt 0621-C 1, squeeze out the hub 3 together with the inner race of the bearing;
- screw the two wheel bolts into the hub, then secure it in a vise with the bolts;

- remove retaining ring 1 from the hub (pic. 6.13);

- install the pressure insert 0621-E 1 on the hub and the FACOM U 53 puller (K2+T2) 2 remove the inner race 3 (pic. 6.14) bearing;
- Install the inner race of the bearing into place in the steering knuckle;

- install thrust plate of bearing puller 0621-B 2 (pic. 6.15) on the press table;
- install the steering knuckle in the thrust plate of the bearing puller 0621-B;
- install and press tool 0621-D 1 (see fig. 6.15) to the bearing race and press the bearing out with a press.
Attention! At installation it is necessary to use the new bearing of a nave of a forward wheel and lock rings.
To install the front wheel bearing:
- before pressing the bearing, apply a thin layer of MOLYKOTE 321R type spray lubricant to the walls of the bearing seat inside the steering knuckle and to the hub;

- install the bearing on the steering knuckle and the mandrel for installing the bearing 0621-L 1 (pic. 6.16) press it;
- install new circlips holding the bearing in the steering knuckle seat;
- secure the steering knuckle in a vice;

- bolt 0621-C 1 and nut 0621-D 2 (pic. 6.17) install the hub in the bearing;
- reinstall the steering knuckle.
