Driver airbag replacement (Peugeot 307)

To remove the driver's airbag:

• turn off the centralized airbag system;

• insert a screwdriver into the side holes of the steering wheel A (pic. 9.62) and press it to release the airbag from the latches and slide it in direction B away from the steering wheel;
• Disconnect the airbag electrical connectors and remove it.

To install the driver's airbag:

• connect electric sockets of a pillow of safety;
• install the airbag in place by pressing it from below to secure it in the latches;
• turn on the centralized airbag system;
• initiate all electronic systems.
