Anti-theft system
The car radio is coded in such a way that it can only work on the car in which it was installed during production. It will not work when installed on any other vehicle.
The anti-theft system works in a fully automatic mode and does not require any decoding actions.
Adjusting the sound volume
With successive button presses «ABOUT» the volume level increases, and the button «N» - decreases. Continuous button press «ABOUT» And «N» allows you to adjust the volume level smoothly.
Audio system setup
Press the button successively «G», to be able to adjust the bass tones (BASS), high frequencies (TREB), volume boost functions (LOUD), front-rear speaker balance (FAD), right-left speaker balance (BAL) and automatic volume control functions. Features of receiving radio signals
A car radio is affected by many external factors that are not present when the receiver is permanently installed in the house. Reception of radio signals with amplitude and frequency modulation, respectively LW/MW and FM, is associated with interference, which depends on the reception conditions and the type of signal, but not on the quality of the radio receiver.
Quality of reception of a radio signal with amplitude modulation (LW/MW) worsened when the vehicle is driven near high-voltage power lines, under bridges, or in tunnels.
FM radio signals (FM) can be severely distorted due to excessive remoteness of the radio transmitter, due to reflections from various obstacles (mountains, hills, buildings, etc.). Interference with radio reception can also occur in radio shade areas (areas closed from the radio transmitter).
Switching to radio mode
Car radio RВЗ: successively press the button «SRC».
Car radio RD3: press the button «R».
Frequency range selection
Car radio RВЗ: by briefly pressing the button «BNDIAST» you can select the desired band: FM1, FM2, FMast or AM.
Car radio RD3: by briefly pressing the button «R» you can select any of the FM1, FM2, FMast or AM bands.
Automatic station search mode
Briefly press one of the buttons «I» or «J» to tune in to the next or previous station, respectively.
By long pressing the corresponding button, the frequency will change continuously in the selected direction.
After releasing the button, the search will continue and stop after tuning to the nearest station. If the TA traffic program is selected, the radio will only search for stations broadcasting this type of information. Automatic station search occurs with sensitivity «LO» (tuning is done only on the most powerful radio transmitters), until the entire range has been covered, and then the search is repeated with sensitivity «DX» (tuning is performed on weaker and more distant radio transmitters).
In order to immediately adjust the sensitivity «DX», press the button twice «I» or «J».
Manual station search mode
Click on the button «MAN».
Briefly press the buttons «I» or «J» respectively to increase or decrease by a certain step of the tuning frequency.
By pressing and holding these buttons, the radio will continuously change the tuning frequency in the selected direction.
The frequency change will stop when the button is released.
New button press «MAN» allows you to return to automatic station search mode.
Manual station storage
Tune to the desired station.
Press one of the preset buttons with «1» By «6» and keep it pressed for more than 2 s.
The sound will pause for a moment and then resume to confirm that the station has been memorized in the car radio.
Automatic FM station memory (autostore)

Car radio RD3: press and hold for more than 2 s the button «R».
Pressing and holding these buttons on the radio will automatically store the six stations with the best FM reception. These stations will be memorized into the Fmast band.
If it was not possible to find all six stations for entering into the memory of the car radio, the remaining memory cells will remain free.
Recalling preset stations
Briefly press one of the buttons «1» — «6» to call the corresponding station stored in the memory in each frequency band.
Using the RDS function (radio data systems) in the FM band
The RDS system allows, when tuned to a specific station, to ensure the best quality of radio signal reception by automatically switching to other transmitters located along the vehicle's route that operate in the RDS standard and transmit the same radio program on other frequencies.
To turn the RDS function on or off, briefly press the button «RDS». The display will show:
- «RDS», if the feature is enabled;
- «(RDS)», if the function is enabled, but there are no transmitters available for this system.
Tracking radio transmitters operating in the RDS standard
When the RDS function is on, the display shows the name of the station to which the radio is tuned. As the vehicle travels, the radio continuously automatically selects the transmitter that provides the best reception for the selected programme.
Receiving programs broadcasting traffic information
To turn the traffic information function on or off, press the button «TA». The display will show:
- «TA», if the feature is enabled;
- «(TA)», if the function is enabled, but there are no transmitters available for this system.
All traffic announcements have priority regardless of which audio source is on (radio, audio cassette player, or CD player).
If you want to interrupt the transmission of traffic information, press the button «TA». This feature will be disabled.
Attention! Traffic information is transmitted at a preset volume level, which is independent of the audio system's set volume level. However, this level can be changed using the volume control. The changed setting will be memorized and the following traffic announcements will be received at this volume level.
