Instrument cluster
1 - casing glass, 2 - indicator board, 3 - tachometer (or watch), 4 - speedometer, 5 - housing, 6 - drive cable
Models up to 1993
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Move the steering wheel to the lowest position.
3. On both sides of the switches, remove the cover screws of the instrument cluster casing.
4. Unscrew the screws.
5. Remove cover for instrument cluster.
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors connected to the instrument cluster.
7. Unscrew the screws securing the instrument cluster panel.
8. Remove the headlight range adjustment knob.
9. unscrew the screws (indicated by arrows) instrument cluster cover.
10. Remove the instrument cluster cover.
11. unscrew the screws (indicated by an arrow) instrument clusters.
12. Tilt the instrument cluster slightly and disconnect the speedometer cable.
13. Remove instrument cluster.
14. To install the instrument cluster, perform the steps in reverse order with respect to the process of removing it.
Models since 1993
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Press out the mounting brackets and the lower part of the casing of the instrument cluster.
3. Remove the lower part of the instrument cluster.
4. Loosen the lower steering column mounting bolts.
5. Unscrew the two upper steering column mounting bolts, disconnect all connectors and remove the steering column.
6. Remove two screws from the bottom and one screw from the top of the instrument cluster.
7. Remove the speedometer cable from the engine compartment.
8. Insert a soft plastic or wooden lever between the upper casing and the instrument cluster, press the instrument cluster down and turn it towards you.
9. Disconnect the wires from the back of the instrument cluster.
10. Remove instrument cluster.
11. To install the instrument cluster, perform the steps in reverse order with respect to the process of removing it.
