Coolant temperature gauge (1)
The average coolant temperature during driving is between 80°and 90°C. During city driving, in traffic jams, the coolant temperature often exceeds 90°C, which causes the cooling fan to turn on. If the temperature exceeds 110°C, a special control light turns on.
The control bulb of the increased temperature of a cooling liquid (2)
If this light comes on while driving at the same time as the STOP light, stop immediately and after the engine has cooled down, check the coolant level. If the warning light comes on again, check the coolant pump, the cooling fan, and the tightness of the cooling system.
Self-diagnosis control lamp (3)
The flashing of the control lamp indicates a malfunction with the fuel injection system or the ignition system. In this case, you should immediately contact the service station for troubleshooting.
Fuel reserve control lamp (4)
This light comes on if there is less than 6 dm of fuel left in the fuel tank3.
Fuel gauge (5)
The gauge scale is divided into 4 parts of the fuel tank volume. Its volume is 70 dm3.
Engine oil gauge (6)
The engine must not be running for several minutes, the vehicle must be on a flat surface, and the ignition must be on. The oil level is normal if the arrow is in the middle on the right line. If the arrow is on the left line, then you need to add oil to the system.
While the engine is running, the needle is at rest.
STOP light (7)
This lamp lights up simultaneously with the control lamps:
- engine oil pressure;
- elevated coolant temperature;
- wheel blocking system (ABS) and brake fluid level.
When this light comes on, it signals the need to stop the vehicle immediately.
Oil pressure warning light (8)
The oil pressure warning light on the instrument panel comes on when the ignition is turned on and should go out after the engine starts. If this light comes on while driving at the same time as the STOP light, stop immediately and check the oil level. If the level is normal, but the light is still on, then you should contact the repair shop.
Handbrake and very low brake fluid warning light (9)
When this light comes on, it indicates:
- tightened hand brake;
- too low brake fluid level in the reservoir. In this case, you should check the level of the brake fluid, add it and contact a workshop to determine the cause of the decrease in the brake fluid.
Control lamp for the presence of water in the fuel filter (10)
If this light comes on, remove the water from the fuel filter as soon as possible.
Battery charging control lamp (11)
This light comes on when the ignition is turned on and should go out after the engine starts. The glow of the battery charging indicator lamp while driving indicates a malfunction of the charging system. Shut off the engine immediately and check the tension of the alternator drive belt, as well as the fastening of the battery clamps. If everything is normal, but the light remains on, contact the nearest service station for help.
Control bulb of wear of brake shoes of forward brakes (12)
If this light comes on, the brake pads must be replaced as soon as possible.
Coolant level indicator light (13)
If this light comes on, add coolant. If the need to top up the coolant occurs frequently, then it is necessary to check the tightness of the cooling system.
Warning light of the ABS wheel blocking system (14)
The functioning of this system is controlled by three control lights:
- STOP (7);
- brake fluid level (9);
- ABS systems (14).
Three cases are possible:
A. All three lights come on at the same time, indicating that the ABS system is not functioning (there is no brake assistance, the brake pedal has a long travel and requires more force to be applied). In this case, you must immediately seek help from the nearest service station (you have to drive very slowly).
b. If light 10 does not light up or flashes one minute after starting the engine, this indicates a malfunction in the ABS system. The cause of the fault must be rectified immediately at a workshop.
With. Lamp 10 does not go out or lights up. Switch the ignition off and on again. If this light remains on, proceed as in case b.
