The heating and ventilation switches are located on the center console. They include:
- horizontally movable lever (9), controlling the flow of air;
- three round knobs to control the fan operation mode (6), temperature (7), air distribution (8).
Air management (9)
Lever in left position : supply is closed. Ambient air is not drawn into the vehicle. The air inside the vehicle is circulated. This position should only be used in exceptional cases, for example to prevent dust or bad odors from entering the vehicle.
Lever in right position : supply is open.
Air distribution control (8)
By turning the knob counterclockwise, the following four positions can be found:
– position : air is directed only to the side and middle ventilation nozzles;
– position : air is directed only to the legs;
– position : air is directed to the front glass, side windows and passengers' feet;
– position : air is directed to the front and side windows. To quickly defrost the windows, set the temperature and fan knobs to the maximum.
Air temperature control (7)
The mark on the handle in the left extreme position opposite the blue line: off.
Turning the knob clockwise: gradual increase in heating intensity.
The mark on the handle in the right extreme position: maximum heating intensity.
Fan control (6)
The mark on the handle in the end position after turning counterclockwise: off.
Rotate the knob clockwise: gradually increase the amount of air supplied.
Side and middle ventilation nozzles
On both sides of the front panel there are two air outlets covered with special grilles that allow you to set and adjust the direction of the air flow.
