Folding the rear seats (Peugeot 405)

Vehicles with a combi body are equipped with a solid seat or two seats with separable backs.


To tilt the rear seat forward to a horizontal position, pull the middle strap (1) or for straps (3) and raise the rear seat cushion to a vertical position.

To lower the back (or backs) it must be unlocked by tilting the control element located on the side (2 or 4).


When the backrest is lowered and in a horizontal position, the release control must be set correctly (5). It should simultaneously serve as a support that prevents the back from moving down.
