Jack and handle (1) for him are in the compartment near the rear wall (in sedan versions) or in the left rear wing, behind the cover (in versions with a combi body). To extract the jack (in versions with a combi body) it should be moved forward, lifted and retracted from behind. Spare wheel (3) is in a special basket (2) at the bottom of the back of the car. There are two reinforced seats on each side of the car (4), which also serve as a support for the jack.
Steps to take when changing a wheel
1. Park the vehicle on as flat and firm a surface as possible.
2. Apply the handbrake and chock the wheels on the opposite side of the vehicle.
3. Engage 1 or reverse gear.
4. Remove the jack and handle from the trunk.
5. Unscrew the nut securing the spare wheel basket with the handle.
6. Pull the basket out and release the hook.
7. Drop the basket.
8. Take out the spare wheel.
9. Using the handle, remove the cap of the wheel to be removed.
10. Use the handle to loosen the screws securing the wheel to be removed.
11. Place the head of the jack under the place intended for raising the car (located near the removed wheel).
12. Check that the jack head is placed under the desired location and jack up the vehicle.
13. Unscrew the four bolts and remove the wheel.
14. Install the spare wheel and screw in the four bolts by hand.
15. Tighten the bolts with a wrench not to the stop.
16. Lower the car, remove the jack and finally tighten the bolts.
17. Insert the cap by fitting the hole on the nipple in the appropriate place. Strike with the palm of your hand to snap the hooks.
18. Place the removed wheel in the basket with its outer surface facing up.
19. Raise the basket as high as possible and hook it.
20. Inside the trunk, screw the fastening nut until it stops.
21. Place the jack and handle in their socket.
22. Repair the damaged wheel without delay, inflate it to the required pressure and dynamically balance it.
