Removing the turbocharger (First step)
1 - boost radiator,
2 - air pipe between the air filter and the turbocharger,
3 – an air branch pipe between a turbocompressor and a pressurization radiator
Removing the turbocharger (second phase)
4 - oil return pipe,
5 - oil supply pipe,
6 – a bolt of the bottom fastening of a knee of system of release of exhaust gases,
7 – a bolt of the bottom fastening of a turbocharger
Removing the turbocharger (final stage)
8 – a bolt of the top fastening of a knee of system of release of exhaust gases,
9 – a bolt of the top fastening of a turbocharger,
10 - oil supply hole
Placement of a wooden block to fix the engine
Removing
1. Remove the boost radiator (1) (see fig. Removing the turbocharger (First step)).
2. Remove the air tube (2), located between the air filter and the turbocharger.
3. Remove the air tube (3), located between the turbocharger and the boost radiator.
4. Plug the air inlets and outlets of the turbocharger.
5. Disconnect the return pipes (4) (see fig. Removing the turbocharger (second phase)) near turbocharger and oil supply (5) to the turbocharger.
6. Unscrew the bottom bolt (6) fastenings of a knee of system of release of exhaust gases.
7. Remove two screws (7) attaching the turbocharger to the manifold.
8. Support the engine with a jack.
9. Remove the right engine mount.
10. Tilt the engine forward and insert a block of wood (see fig. Placement of a wooden block to fix the engine).
11. Remove intake manifold (the central bolt must be loosened without unscrewing).
12. Disconnect the oil pipe (5) (see fig. Removing the turbocharger (second phase)) from the turbocharger and remove it.
13. Remove two screws (8) (see fig. Removing the turbocharger (final stage)) fastenings of a knee of system of release of exhaust gases.
14. unscrew the bolt (9) upper mounting of the turbocharger.
15. Close the exhaust gas inlets and outlets with plugs in the turbocharger.
Installation
To install the turbocharger, follow the steps in reverse order to removing it, observing the following instructions.
1. Fill the turbocharger with oil through the turbocharger inlet.
2. Observe the tightening torques for all screw connections.
3. Disconnect the power wires to the engine stop valve on the high pressure fuel pump or operate the stop lever (depending on the model).
4. Rotate the crankshaft of the engine, including the starter for 30 seconds.
5. Start the engine and do not increase the engine speed for 30 seconds.
