2. Remove the battery and its holder.
3. Disconnect the shift control cable from the selector lever.
4. Remove the automatic transmission selector lever.
5. Modify the standard flat lining in the sequence shown in the figures.
6. Install the modified pad in place of the selector lever and secure with the previously unscrewed nut.
7. Drill the O-ring with a 2.5 mm drill bit through the small holes in the lining. This is necessary in order to loosen the ring and make it easier to remove.
8. Unscrew the nut and screw two self-tapping screws into the large holes in the pad.
9. Position special tool 3084 T under the machined liner and remove the O-ring.
10. Lubricate the new O-ring and install it with a bushing of the correct diameter.
11. Install the selector lever and connect it to the shift control cable.
12. Install the battery and its holder.
13. Install the air filter.
