Dismantling the output shaft
1. Remove the rear ball bearing from the shaft with a press.
2. Remove the gasket, 4th gear, 4th gear synchronizer ring, sliding sleeve together with the 3-4 gear hub from the shaft (without separating the bushing from the hub) and the 3rd gear synchronizer ring.
3. Remove the circlip and 3rd gear.
4. Remove the circlip and 2nd gear.
5. Remove the 2nd gear synchronizer ring, sliding sleeve together with the 1-2 gear hub (without separating the bushing from the hub) and 1st gear synchronizer ring.
6. Remove the circlip and 1st gear.
7. Remove the front bearing snap ring.
8. Remove the front bearing with a press.
Disassembly of the input shaft
If any of the ball bearings is damaged, remove it with a press. Once removed, the bearing cannot be reused.
