General information about the car body (Peugeot 406)

The bodywork is made from forged and welded parts, including front and rear crumple zones and a rigid center section. The hood, doors and some other parts are made of zinc coated metal and further protected with a special primer. Plastic materials are widely used, mainly in the interior and exterior elements. Front and rear bumpers and front grille are made of synthetic material.
