Attention! On models with ABS, disconnect the battery before any brake system disconnection and reconnect it after the brake system components are fully connected.
Removing
1. Raise the rear of the car and secure it on stands. Remove the corresponding rear wheel.
2. Remove the brake pads.
3. Using a G-clamp, pinch the brake hose.
4. Clean the dirt around the brake pipe and caliper connection. Unscrew the nut and disconnect the brake pipe from the caliper. Plug the brake pipe and the bore in the caliper.
5. Unscrew the caliper mounting bolt, remove the protective head from the guide sleeve and unscrew the guide pin bolt. Remove the support.
Repair
Repair of the rear caliper is similar to the repair of the front caliper (see subsection 10.10).
Installation
1. Clean the threads of the guide pin bolts and coat them with anti-twist (Loctite Frenetanch).
2. Establish a support and screw in bolts of fastening of a directing finger, tightening them the demanded moment.
3. Install the protective head on the guide bushings.
4. Connect a brake pipe to a support and tighten a connecting nut the demanded moment. Remove the clamp from the brake hose.
5. Install the brake pads.
6. Remove air from the brake system.
7. Install the wheel and lower the car.
