Each part can be removed separately.
Removing
Front handbrake
1. Raise the rear of the car and secure it on stands.
2. Remove the heat shield and loosen the adjuster to loosen the handbrake cable as much as possible.
3. Remove the center console.
4. Fully release the handbrake and disconnect the handbrake cable from the lever. Release the cable sheath from the fastening brackets and ties.
5. From the bottom of the vehicle, disconnect the right rear cable from the front cable adjuster. Unscrew the adjuster and disconnect the left rear handbrake cable.
6. Release the front cable from the fastening brackets and ties and remove it from under the car.
Rear handbrake cable (models with drum brakes)
1. Raise the rear of the car and secure it on stands.
2. Remove the heat shield and loosen the adjuster to loosen the handbrake cable as much as possible.
3. Remove the appropriate rear brake drum.
4. Disconnect the handbrake cable from the brake shoe lever and remove the cable sheath from the brake shield.
5. Release the entire length of the cable from the fastening brackets. Disconnect the right rear cable from the adjuster mechanism and unscrew the left rear cable. Remove them from under the car.
Rear handbrake cable (models with disc brakes)
1. Raise the rear of the car and secure it on stands.
2. Remove the heat shield and loosen the adjuster to loosen the handbrake cable as much as possible.
3. Remove the hand brake pads. Disconnect the handbrake mechanism from the end of the handbrake cable.
4. Remove the cable sheath from the brake shield.
5. Release the cable from the fastening brackets.
6. Disconnect the right rear cable from the regulator mechanism.
7. Unscrew the left rear cable. Remove the cables from under the car.
Installation
Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
