Removing
1. Raise the rear of the car and secure it on stands. Remove the corresponding rear wheel.
2. Place a jack under the outer end of the lower control arm and raise it just enough to compress the suspension spring slightly.
3. Loosen the nut and remove the pivot bolt that secures the guide arm to the trunnion.
4. Unscrew 3 bolts (indicated by arrows) mounting the control arm suspension to the body and remove the control arm assembly.
Repair
1. Loosen the nut and remove the pivot bolt that secures the front control arm suspension.
2. Clean the guide lever from dirt and anti-corrosion coating and check its condition.
Installation
1. Lubricate the bolts with Molykote G Rapide Plus multipurpose grease.
2. If the control arm suspension was removed, install the suspension pivot bolt and screw on the new nut without fully tightening it.
3. Reinstall the control arm and bolt the control arm to the body.
4. Attach the guide arm to the trunnion without completely tightening the nut.
5. Install the wheel and lower the car. Rock the car so that all the suspension elements are in place. Tighten all bolts and nuts to the specified torque.
