Removing the bottom frame
The inner hinge bolt of the upper right arm is indicated by an arrow.
Right lever
Removing
The rear suspension and lower frame must be fully lowered to remove the upper right arm inner pivot bolt (see fig. Removing the bottom frame). This must be done at the service station.
Left lever
Removing
1. Raise the rear of the car and secure it on stands. Remove the corresponding rear wheel.
2. Place a jack under the outer end of the lower arm and raise the jack just enough so that the spring is slightly compressed.
3. Unscrew the nuts, remove the internal hinge bolts.
4. Unscrew the nuts, remove the outer hinge bolts and remove the lever from under the car, while releasing it from the handbrake cable attachment.
5. Clean the lever from dirt and anti-corrosion coating and check its condition.
Installation
1. Lubricate pivot bolts with Molykote G Rapide Plus.
2. Install the lever in place, insert the hinge bolts and screw the nuts onto them, without completely tightening.
3. Install the wheel and lower the car. Rock the car so that all suspension elements fall into place. Tighten nuts of fastening of the top pivot bolts the demanded moment.
