Check points for electrical components
A, B, C, D. Checkpoints (see paragraphs. 3–6)
1. Check for fuel in the tank.
2. Check for moisture on electrical components under the hood. Turn off the ignition, then wipe the wet components with a dry cloth. Apply water repellent spray (WD-40 or equivalent) for electrical connectors (see fig. Check points for electrical components). Pay special attention to the ignition coil wiring connector and high voltage wires. Diesel engines do not usually suffer from this «sickness».
3. Remove the plastic cover and check the condition and connections of the battery (A).
4. Check that all connectors (IN) electrical wires are securely connected (2.0 liter petrol engine shown).
5. Check the reliability of the connection of the electrical wiring of the generator (WITH).
6. Check the integrity of the fuses (D).
