Removing water from the fuel filter (10,000 km / 12 months) (Peugeot 406)

The drain plug and pipe are located at the base of the fuel filter housing.

1. Place an appropriate container under the drain pipe.

2. Open the drain plug by turning it counterclockwise.



3. Drain the water until clean fuel comes out of the drain pipe, then close the drain plug (arrow).

4. Start the engine. If the engine does not start well, then the fuel system is leaky.
