Removing
1. Remove the toothed belt.
2. Remove the camshaft pulley bolt. To fix the camshaft from turning, it is necessary to use a special tool that fixes the pulley (or, on 1.9 liter engines, remove the head cover and hold the camshaft from turning with a wrench by the tab between 3 and 4 cams).
3. Remove the set screw from the camshaft pulley.
4. Remove the pulley from the camshaft. Remove the segment key if necessary. Check the camshaft O-ring for tightness.
Installation
1. Install the keyway into the camshaft groove and the camshaft pulley.
2. Screw in the pulley mounting bolt and tighten it to the appropriate torque, having previously fixed the camshaft from turning.
3. If removed, install the head cover.
4. Align the holes in the pulley and the front plate and fix with an 8mm bolt.
5. Install the toothed belt.
6. Install the toothed belt guards.
