1. Take a short drive to bring the transmission up to operating temperature.
2. Install the car on a lift or over a viewing hole.
3. Remove the oil level gauge, then place a suitable container under the transmission drain plug. The drain plug is located in the center of the gearbox housing.
4. Unscrew the drain plug and drain the oil from the gearbox. Please note that only about 3 liters of oil is drained, because. it is impossible to completely drain the oil from the torque converter. Clean the drain plug and remove the sealing washer from the plug.
5. Install the sealing washer on the plug and screw the plug into place.
6. Pour oil into the gearbox through the oil level gauge tube.
7. While adding oil, constantly check the oil level. When the level reaches the mark "MAX" stop topping up on the level gauge. Run the engine at idle for a few minutes. Stop the engine and check the oil level, add oil if necessary. Take a test drive and recheck the oil level.
