Door — removal and installation (Peugeot 605)

1. Open the removable door and fix it on the special support. If there is no support, remove the door together with an assistant, supporting it with a jack, on the stem of which put a wooden block.

2. Unscrew a bolt of fastening and disconnect the limiter of opening of a door.

3. Carefully knock out the connecting bolt of the lower door hinge (see illustration).



4. Fix the bottom hinge of the door by installing the pin «A» special device «b», and tighten the nut 1 of the tool (see illustrations 5.4 and 5.4a).





5. Knock out the connecting bolt of the upper hinge of the door.

6. Ask an assistant to support the door, remove the fixture «b», which fixed the lower hinge of the door, and remove the door.

Installation of a door is made in sequence, return to removal.
