1. Disconnect the plug of the brake fluid level sensor and release the wire from the mount.
2. Turn away cap nuts of both brake pipelines and take away pipelines aside.
3. Turn away both nuts of the main brake cylinder on the forward party of the vacuum amplifier of a brake drive.
4. Remove, being careful, the main brake cylinder. Keep a rag under the cylinder to prevent the brake fluid flowing from the cylinder from getting on the paintwork.
Installation of the main brake cylinder is carried out in reverse order. Tighten the fixing nuts of the main brake cylinder on the vacuum booster of the brake drive with a torque of 20 Nm, the union nuts of fastening the brake pipelines with a torque of 15 Nm.
5. Fill the expansion tank with fresh brake fluid and bleed the air from the brake system (see relevant chapter). Before riding, make sure the brakes are working properly.
Repair
The main brake cylinder is not recommended to be repaired. If it fails, a new one should be installed. When ordering a new brake master cylinder, please specify the vehicle model, identification number and year of manufacture.
When replacing the brake master cylinder, the expansion tank can be removed.
