The fuel filter is located near the fuel tank under the bottom of the vehicle. When removing the fuel filter, all safety precautions relating to flammable substances must be observed. When disconnecting the hoses, relieve the pressure in the fuel system.
37. Place the back of the car on the goats.
38. Disconnect the filter attachment to the left side of the fuel tank.
39. Remove the hose clamps from the fuel filter. At the factory, the hoses are secured with clamps. When replacing the fuel filter, you can install more conventional clamping clamps tightened with a screw.
40. Disconnect fuel hoses from the filter. The filter housing has arrows indicating the direction of fuel flow.
41. Remove the fuel filter and install a new one (see illustration).

Please note that the fuel filter is recyclable and should not be disposed of with household waste.
The filter is installed in the reverse order of removal. After installing the fuel filter, start the engine and make sure the fuel hoses are tight.
Attention! The fuel system is pressurized, which means that when removing the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel injectors, fuel rail and pressure regulator, and when disconnecting the hoses, the pressure must be relieved to avoid fuel blowout.
The procedure before disconnecting the corresponding part of the fuel system is as follows.
42. Disconnect the wire terminal «masses» (-) from the battery.
43. Place a container under the joint to be separated, and wrap the joint itself with rags.
44. Turn away a cap nut. Loosen the nut slowly to relieve the pressure.
Plug the openings so that fuel does not leak out and dirt does not get in.
