In addition to the self-test function Bosch Motronic MP3.2 has a special device (LOS - mode that allows you to get to the nearest workshop). In the event of a severe fault in one or more of the sensors, the ECM will set the fault instead of the faulty sensor. This means that the engine can run reasonably well if the fault occurs in one or more of the auxiliary sensors. If the main sensor is damaged, such as the intake manifold absolute pressure sensor (IDA), the driving efficiency will be reduced.
Note. Most models are equipped with a standard 2-pin PSA multi-pin connector. Later models (e.g. X. ntia) equipped with a new 2-pin self-diagnostic connector (SD).
