If the engine is equipped with an oxidation type catalyst and an exhaust gas recirculation system, then its designation changes to «XUD9TF/Y» DHX type. The engine power of this model has been increased to 90 hp. (66 kW). In all other respects, both engines are the same. The modified engine has been installed in series since 1998.
