Removing
1. Remove the heatsink as described in paragraph 3.
2. Turn away a lock ring and disunite a round electric socket in the left lower corner of a casing of the fan. If separate electrical connectors are used, trace the electrical wiring from the fan and disconnect the appropriate electrical connectors.
3. On early models, lift the ends of the fan shroud clips (one on each side) and slide the top of the casing towards the engine. On all models, lift the assembly to release the lower mounting tabs and remove it from the engine compartment.
4. To extract the motor (-to her) fan from the casing, unscrew the three nuts and remove the bolts securing the corresponding motor to the casing. Remove the fan motor assembly and disconnect the electrical connector. The fan can be removed from the motor shaft after removing the clamp or unscrewing the bolt (whichever is applicable).
5. To gain access to the motor relay, release and remove the cover over the relay box located in the center of the fan shroud. Please note that on some models the relay box cover may be secured with a screw.
6. Remove the relay base plate from the casing, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the appropriate relay.
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Install the heatsink as described in paragraph 3.
